Project Desription:

The scheme involves junction reconfiguration to accommodate bus priority measures including re-routing of buses. The works include carriageway widening and kerb realignment. Kerb heights will be adjusted at Clapham Common South Side in line with bus accessibility measures. Advanced cycle stops lines will be introduced at some of the approaches to the junction.

Alteration to gullies and drainage plan, application of road markings, erecting new signs and relocating existing signs, relocating street furniture, relocation of existing street lighting and illuminated bollards.

New ducts were installed crossing to islands, on island and on footway for traffic lights and electrical street furniture. New drawpits were placed on footway and islands.
